Deciduous branchlets 0.8–1 mm. in diam., ribs 9–10(12) inconspicuous; scale leaves somewhat reflexed, free part 1–1.3 x 0.2 mm., rather indistinctly darkened towards the apex. Persistent branches with (7)9(12) ribs; free part of scale leaf 1.4–2 x 0.3–0.4 mm., little reflexed.

Persistent stem with (7–)9(–12) ribs, when young resembling deciduous branchlets since scale-leaves little reflexed, free part 1.4–2 × 0.3–0.4 mm.
