Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; 60-90 cm long; 2 mm diam.; 1-2 -noded. Leaves mostly basal. Leaf-sheaths glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 5-10 mm long. Leaf-blades 15-30 cm long; 2-4 mm wide; glaucous. Leaf-blade surface scabrous; glabrous, or pilose; hairy adaxially. Leaf-blade apex acuminate.
