Morphology General
Differing from var trabeculata in its smaller glumes 1.2–1.5 mm long

Seasonal swamp on mud under Acacia seyal; 600 m
Note
Although in Haines & Lye fig. 234 is captioned var. microglumis it is clearly stated that the habit drawing was drawn from Welwitsch 6982, one of the syntypes of typical B. trabeculata.
