Note
Emilia leptocephala is often considered as being similar to E. integrifolia Baker. The latter species, known from East Africa south to Zambia and Madagascar is reported to have smaller involucre (4.5 - 6.5 mm long) and the capitula are "densely corymbose" (Jeffrey 1986).
