- Morphology General Habit
- Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; 130-150 cm long; 3-5 mm diam.; 3 -noded; with 0.4-0.5 of their length below uppermost node. Lateral branches lacking. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 4-20 mm long; lacerate. Leaf-blades 9-45 cm long; 4-8 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scabrous; rough abaxially; puberulous; sparsely hairy; hairy adaxially.
