Morphology General Habit
Plants 8–41 cm high.

Rhizome short, slender, vertical, regularly constricted, with short fibrous remains of old leaf bases.

Leaves in a basal rosette, 1–4 per plant, low-lying or flat on ground, 2–8 × 1–4.5 cm, obtuse to acute, clasping, glabrous.
