Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Androecium Stamens Anthers
Anthers pale, probably yellowish white
Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Corolla
Petals 2.5 - 3.5 x 1 - 2 mm, outer 2 patent and inner 3 ± erect, inner ones thinner, paler and sometimes smaller than outer ones, elliptic, at anthesis white, in fruit brown

Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Pedicel
Pedicels usually 0.5 - 1 mm long
Morphology Reproductive morphology Fruits
Fruit rather loosely enclosed by persistent, ± erect, inner 3 petals.
Morphology Reproductive morphology Inflorescences
Inflorescences 4.5 - 22 cm long, often much branched, or rarely unbranched, often with rather stout axis
Morphology Reproductive morphology Inflorescences Bracteoles
Bracteoles persistent, rounded triangular to very broadly ovate, free
Morphology Stem
Stem glabrous, not producing tubers
Note
Anredera tuzcunmanensis has flowers with patent outer petals and erect inner petals, like the closely related A. densiflora, with the difference that the inner petals are thinner than the outer ones. This unique feature is most easily seen in fruit. Furthermore, the inflorescences of A. tutcumanensis have more thinly arranged flowers than A. densiflora, and the leaf blades are comparatively thick and ovate to elliptic.
