Much-branched dwarf-shrub, c. 40 cm tall; young stems silvery, covered by hairs with spreading tips

Related to M. sessilis, but differs in its longer stipules, much smaller flowers with stamens only c. 2 mm long, and in its upcurved and only c. 1.3 mm wide pods.
