Fronds spaced 1–6 cm apart, pendulous; stipe 2–10 cm long, winged in upper part, stellate-hairy; lamina dark green turning brown, linear-lanceolate in outline, 8–45 × 1.7–6 cm, 2-pinnatifid; pinnae in 8–24 pairs, rhomboid-oblong, to 3 × 1.2 cm; ultimate segments 6–15, more numerous along acroscopic margin, linear, to 2.5 mm wide, rounded at apex, denticulate with the projections bearing hairs; rachis winged throughout; lamina hairy throughout with yellowish stalked-stellate trichomes
