Male racemes up to 17 cm long; bracts 1 mm long, triangular-ovate, pubescent, 2–20-flowered, the flower clusters remote, occasionally the lowest pedunculate. Bisexual racemes resembling the male ones, but with the addition of 1–2 female flowers at the base, in the middle or at the top of the axis. Female racemes up to 20 cm long; bracts 2 mm long, narrowly lanceolate, sparingly pubescent, 1-flowered, the flowers remote. Racemes unisexual or bisexual, with the flowers dioecious or monoecious, pedunculate.
