Leaves crowded towards the ends of the branches; petiole 3–8 cm. long, narrowly winged, glabrous; leaf-blade elliptic-lanceolate, (15–)20–30 cm. long, (5.5–)7–9 cm. wide, acutely gradually acuminate, attenuate to the acute base and continuous with the petiolar wings, entire firmly chartaceous, lateral nerves 11–14 pairs, looped well within the margin, midrib and lateral nerves scarcely prominent above, prominent beneath, tertiary nerve network slightly prominent above and beneath, quite glabrous.
